Company data is kept separate for each company, and crewai.work operators don't look at it in normal operation
The server and the database together make sure one company's email, documents, conversations and memory cannot be seen by another company. crewai.work operators don't look at customers' original content in normal operation. Only when it is truly needed to investigate an error do they get the company's permission and keep a record of the reason and the access.
Designed for: For security and privacy staff reviewing where data is stored, how it is separated and the rules for operator access.
Data separated by company
Separation happens in the server and the database, not on the screen.
Every request is handled only after it is confirmed which company it belongs to, and the database returns only that company's data. Because the server and the database both block access, other companies' data does not get mixed in even if one side makes a mistake.
AI Crew's memory and company materials are also kept separate for each company. Even for a person who belongs to several companies, they are managed separately for each company.
Protections
Encryption in transit
All traffic between the browser and the server is encrypted (TLS).
Encrypted server secrets
Secrets the server uses, such as access keys, are stored encrypted.
Only verified versions run in production
Only versions that have passed verification go into the live service. An unverified version does not overwrite the screens you are using.
Monitoring and alerts
Service health is watched at all times, and the operations team is alerted when something goes wrong.
Retention and deletion
How retention and deletion work in each service.
| Item | What happens | Status |

Items in preparation
The items below are in preparation, and the timing and scope are explained in a sales consultation.
- A dedicated store that keeps records for audits separately
- A setup that runs across several servers to prepare for outages
- A sign-in vault for AI Crew (a place to safely entrust site sign-in details)
- Several layers of protection against attacks that try to trick AI Crew with instructions hidden in web pages or email (prompt injection)
- Beta terms that include the rule on viewing original content
If your data must stay inside your company
With on-premises, data and records stay inside your infrastructure, and Crewon, which runs AI Crew, also runs inside your environment. Network-separated and closed-network environments are also reviewed in consultation.
Frequently asked questions
Can operators see our company's email?
Not in normal operation. Only when it is truly needed to investigate an error do they get the company's permission and keep a record of the reason and the access.
Do other companies' AI Crew learn from our data?
No. Company materials and memory are kept separate for each company and are not used by other companies.
Is all stored data encrypted?
Traffic in transit is encrypted (TLS), and the secrets the server uses are also stored encrypted. Details of how data is stored are explained in a security review consultation.
Where is our data stored?
With SaaS, data is stored separately for each company in the crewai.work cloud, and AI Crew's memory is kept in the Crewon cloud. If it is hard to keep data outside your company, please consider on-premises. Data and records stay inside your infrastructure.
Which AI models does it use, and can we choose?
SaaS uses approved commercial models. On-premises lets you choose an in-house model or an approved commercial model. Data handling terms for each model are explained in a sales consultation.
